For many families in Bamunanika, the barrier to education isn’t a lack of will — it’s a lack of means. School fees, uniforms, books, and transport costs add up quickly, and for families already struggling to put food on the table, sending a child to school can feel impossible.

This is the gap the Bamunanika Education Foundation exists to close. Through our scholarship program, we cover the costs that keep children out of the classroom, so that a family’s income is never the reason a child misses out on learning.

But financial barriers are only part of the picture. Distance to school, lack of learning materials at home, and limited access to mentorship can all quietly derail a child’s education even after they’ve enrolled. That’s why our support doesn’t stop at tuition — we stay connected with our scholars, offering guidance and encouragement so they don’t just start school, but finish it.
